The Enchanted Voices

The name Enchanted Voices is both that of the first of a series of recent CDs as well as Howard’s choir created by as part of his year as Composer in Residence at Classic FM in 2009/10 and continuing to record and perform, under Howard’s direction, works composed or arranged by the composer.

The choir has released three CDs and performances have included at the Royal Albert Hall in December 2010 (YouTube link here) which was broadcast on TV and at the Classical Brit Awards also in 2010.

The fourth CD by this group, with additional singers to create a full SATB Enchanted Voices, is due for release in January 2013.  Entitled INSPIRED: The Essential Howard Goodall Collection, it will be on the Decca Classics/Classic fm label and will include the King James Bible Oratorio Every Purpose Under the Heaven and other works.
