Invictus: A Passion
The First Congregational Church of Western Springs invites you to hear Invictus: A Passion, Howard Goodall’s latest choral work, which explores the universal themes of the passion of Christ: persecution of the innocent, malevolent authority exerting itself against ideas that threaten, the power of a peaceful, loving humility in the face of tyranny, and the facing down of fear. They will perform with the orchestra and Kathy Christian on piano.
