How Music Works

A series of four programmes – Melody, Rhythm, Harmony & Bass – it was first transmitted 18 November 2006 for four weeks on Channel 4.  Written and presented by Howard, it was produced by David Jeffcock, and directed by David Jeffcock and Francis Hanly.

The series has won a number of awards:

• Learning on Screen’s Video & Broadcast Award (2008)
• The Royal Television Society’s Judges’ Award for Outstanding Contribution to Education in Broadcasting (2007)
• The Voice of the Listener & Viewer Naomi Sargant Memorial Award for Outstanding Contribution to Education in Broadcasting (2006)
